Gigantic red flowers are officially classified as unusual form-spatulate, this spider type variant produces very distinctive, almost star-shaped, 8 to 9 inch, Christmas red blossoms early in the daylily season. A prominent gold throat bleeds out onto the diamond dusted petals. The saturated color of the blossoms is sunfast.
